Just wondering what years of transmissions will fit into my 69 camaro and be able to keep the original drive shaft. Prefer 3 speed or if possible a 4 speed auto |

| The 1969-79 TH350 will bolt in place using the same drive shaft if your 1969 Camaro originally had a V8 with a TH350. If you car was originally equipped with a TH400 transmission then stay with a turbo 400 transmission, otherwise the cross member is located further back compared to a TH350 application, the driveshaft is a different length and the front drive shaft yoke is different between a TH350 and a TH400. The TH350 and aluminum powerglide both have 27 splines on the output shaft and the TH400 has either 27 or 32 splines. It depends upon exactly which application your driveshaft is from. |

Not sure but I think I heard that the 200 R4 trans is a direct replacment and fit for a TH350 and it's a 4 speed |
