If you are replacing a quarter panel which includes the new door jamb simply drill out the factory spot welds and weld in the new quarter panel at the door jamb in the same place by filling the holes with a mig welder.

If the replacement quarter panel doesn't include the new door jamb and is just a skin you can use the original door jamb, if it isn't rusted out or damaged. Also use one inch of the forward and rear edges of the original quarter panel and flange these edges to lay the new skin on top to have a smooth seam.

THE REPLACEMENT QUARTER PANEL IS A C.A.R.S. PANEL AND HAS A PARTIAL DOOR JAM.
