Documentation to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt it is actual miles........YES 7 Thousand original miles. EVERYTHING on this car is the original parts and without any question like new. This car was inspected in VA when new with 1 mile on odometer and again one year later with just over 5K on it. It was then stored in climate controlled garage. Battery and tires have been replaced with exact original replacement items. EVERYTHING else on car is the ORIGINAL PARTS that the car rolled off the assembly line with. Why would you change the tires at 7k? Its in a heated garage and not driven, spare has no checking or age damage. Do you have the original tires and battery for proof of the original milage. If you have the tires I would be inclined to believe the milage statement, without, NOT a chance. Not a very rare car, not very collectable. Way Way Way overpriced. Look it up on the auction sites that post results. |

A 32 year old car with only 7,000 actual miles is interesting no matter what model it is, however, by 1976 SS was only an option package. The most powerful engine available was a 350ci 4barrel with factory rated 165hp, not very exciting. I suspect by the asking price someone has been watching too much Barrett-Jackson. |

you have a better chance of getting that kind of money with parting it out than selling a emissions sucked out version of what used to be cool 1972 and prior! SS in 1976 was just a trim pack that put the polish on a turd! |
